Another dessert done yesterday was this super easy recipe I’ve learned from a friend couple of years ago.
You know the typical ready samboosek dough? Well you only have to cut it lengthwise fold it like a butterfly then stick it with some water. Deep fry then sprinkle with cinnamon and icing sugar.
Served with caramel sauce which is caramelized sugar with some water and heavy cream all whisked well together.
Very easy and delicious dish.
Busy morning preparing for Ramadan cause I get too tired first day so thought I’ll do some things to be at ease.
Did some samboosek, cheese rolls, roasted bread and a big pot of syrup for the sweets.
Lunch was various fries, potatoes, eggplants and cauliflowers with pickles and tahini sauce.
Salad was Rita’s recipe, wide green beans with garlic and cherry tomatoes.
Ramadan Kareem everybody.
fries of all kinds.
green beans salad.
Today I wanted to make something that my youngest son likes cause he’s not eating well since beginning of Ramadan so I went bought some fresh lamb chops, his favorite dish
My eldest is going to a sharing dinner with his friends so I made him Caezar salad and brownies.
I also made fava beans fatteh ,samboosek and a simple salad for ftoor.
For dessert I made Greek semolina cake and got these cute mini desserts filled with pistachios, they’re good but a bit hard !!
