Hello everybody.
Been waiting for my mother in law since I started blogging to do her famous rice pudding !!! Everybody, family and friends loves it, and it’s almost a must every 2-3 weeks. I love it when still hot, so yummy. ♡♥.
Her ingredients are for a big quantity, makes nealy 18-20 small cups. You can minimize it according to your need.
Ingredients and method;:
* 12 cups milk fresh or powder or skimmed.
* 12 big spoons cornflour.
* 1 cup sugar ( you can add more or less as you desire).
* 1 cup rice.
* 2 spoons rose water.
* wash and boil rice till almost done.
* mix milk ,sugar and rose water well then boil.
* mix starch in some of the milk or water.
* when rice is done add it to boiling milk and stirr very well.
* add sartch while stirring.
* simmer till it thickens.
* you can add more dissolved starch if you feel pudding is too thin or not thick enough.
* pour in small cups or balls or in a big Pyrex.
* decorate with crushed pistachio.
* keep in fridge.
