Cherry Pound Cake.

Hello everybody.

Did this awesome cake yesterday for my hubby to take with him to the hunting trip.

Found this recipe on Pinterest but reduced the sugar in it, turned out very good.

Ingredients and method :

# 1 1/4 cups butter.
# 1 3/4 cup sugar.
# 5 eggs.
# 1 cup evaporated milk.
# 1 tsp vanilla, 3 tsp baking powder.
# pinch of salt.
# 3 cups flour.
# 2 cups halved glace cherries.

# beat butter and sugar well till creamy then add eggs, vanilla.
# add milk alternatively with flour and baking powder.
# fold in cherries.

Bake in medium heated oven for 45-50 minutes or till toothpick inserted is dry.
